Bought my CJ-8 off of an ungratefull teenager last april (he wanted something else - I do NOT understand  ) only to have the engine catch fire a week later.
I spent most of last summer/fall rebuilding it with my buddy (he's the one in the pics - and the one mostly responsible for how well it turned out). Can't wait for warm weather to get here so I can really enjoy it -- definitely won't be sad to store away the half-cab for a while...

Definately one nice lookin CJ...
Just out of curiosity... when you were doin the rebuild/restoration. did you contemplate shortening up the rear?? I've seen it done alot for better departure angle. Also seen the TJ flare conversion on the rear so the axle can be slid back an extra inch or two.

YJ 95 - Thanks for the compliment. I'll have to make sure my buddy sees it. He made fun of me for pickin' the wrangler "light khaki" color. heh heh...
jdogg4 - Probably won't be able to make it to the M/G this year. Sounds cool tho'... 8) hopefully next time...
Ueland - Actually I went looking for an '8 for the extra length. Got 3 kids and I'm planning to mount a 3rd seat (or maybe jump seats to a full roll cage) so I can take the whole family along. You're from NC, so I'm sure you know how nice it can be to skip off to the mountains for the weekend. :)
