Custom Avatars

Ok. I found on this software there is a link to allow the board users to link to thier own custom avatar. Here's the thing. The can only be 80x80 pixels. So if you're image is bigger than that and you link it over here, it's gonna look like ****. I am hesitant to allow this to happen only b/c lord only knows what some people are going to use. So post your thoughts here about it and I'll decide by tomorrow if I will allow it or not.

I think my rule about this would be: If you use something that is not suitable for this site, you are going to ruin it for everyone. I will take the option off than.

I say give it a try. Just be sure everyone knows that any objectional material will not be tolerated and will have a penalty(no custom avitars, temp banning ect...). It is nice to be able to personalize the avitar.

the moderator aka:ktulu is a realy good guy.. I'm sure he could tell you any pitfalls if you asked. On AIM his user name is "DRG DFW".

i say allow it, that way me and erie wont look like we are talking to ourselves, each person can be identified by their avatar, makes it alot easier remembering who is who. just a suggestion.

you could always put a pic in your sig line.. but I guess I'm the only one that does that ;)

Here are the rules:

1: They have to be descent pictures. Meaning no crap (ie. porn or offensive pics).

2: The size they have to be is 80 x 80 pixels. The best way to do this is contrain your proportions in whatever program you are using so at leadt the height or width is 80 pixels. It will adjust the other accordingly. If they are not this size, they will look like crap when you upload them here. If you need help resizing them, email it to me. I'll resize it and send it back to you.

3: If I catch any bad images, your link will be deleted and I will choose an avatar for you :g
