Heres a lil poll to see what I should do first...
Gimmie your opinions and time (and cash permitting) I will do it :)

I would have realy liked to add "convert my YJ to rear TJ flares" in there but since I dont have a set of stock TJ flares and they run OVER 70 bucks (not including hardware), Unless someone decides they dont want their stock TJ flares I think this project will be on hold... atleast for a little while.

I will do the mods in order of votes as totaled by my next non-rainy day off. (who knows when that will be) :roll:

I will also post pics of the job and some photos of it actualy being done so if anyone needs a refrence I will have it.

Let me also state that the rear tail light conversion will be done using STOCK TAIL LIGHTS. this is a ZERO COST mod and looks realy cool. I will also supply a decent write up with it incase anyone else is in the mood to attempt the same thing (don't you roll your eyes kelly ;) )

There are a couple good write ups on the flatfender so that would only be pics.. and a tiny writeup.

OK won't lie... I was the one voting for the fingertip thing... but like everyone tells me... I do seem to have a sick way of looking at everything... plus if you are like me when it comes to using power tools, the finger thing will be an added bonus WHILE you are doing the other one. Sooooo... for my real vote. I will say... flat fender that sucker... and then... find us another shubbery.... only slightly higher for the layered effect with a little trail in between... whoops wrong one... THEN pics!!!

My vote was for the tail lights (thats why I listed it in the poll first) ;)

...But Like I said... I'll do whatever gets the most votes first.

I'm still open for the TJ flares if someone wants to donate a beat up set :)

I think I'm gonna try and wait till this hits 20 votes or better to actualy do the mod.

Flush mounting your taillights is in the lead at 50%. Thats what I think you should do. :D

They are bright as hell, come with rubber shock mounts and have a service life of like a gazillion hours with little to no amp draw....

I'm thinking red on top for the stop/runners and yellows underneath for the directionals.....

Actually, you know what would look REALLY cool? Flush Mount LED brake lights and turn signals. Not real sure how you could do the reverse lights and LP light, but flush mounted LED's... what can I say other than

2 points to make on this one....

First.. have you priced those nice shiny 4"round led setups...were talkin right around 120 bucks!!! I don't have that kinda money to waste on tail lights.

And Second... have you ever been behind someone with a pair of those things... there pretty bright.... now think how much brighter (and blinding) they are to the guy behind you durring a night time trail run. its like a lil red sun every time you hit the brakes.


I will be flush mounting the STOCK LIGHTS. reason being is that I think they look cool flush mounted, the cost is will be about .60 cents, and WHEN i brake a lens, replacements will be readily available.Also you cant put blue dots in an led. ;)

I'm sure I'll have a trick or two involved with this install... gotta find somethin to add the BLING factor :D

if it will appease everyone here I will see If i can get my hands on some led bulbs. they have about 5-10 leds and it JUST REPLACES THE BULB. there about 10-15 bucks each last time i checked.... maybe i can just crush some lil rice racer and take his bulbs. ;)

Im going to try to post a pic of my tail lights for you to see. It probably wont work so you can see it by going to my link at the bottom. I think flush mount is a good idea cause I have always thought jeep tail lights looked like an after thought. :USA:

Actualy I was gonna do it last weekend but My partner in crime couldnt make it.. so we rescheduled for yesterday (friday) but that fell through too.

Right now it looks like (god and military willing) that It will be done next weekend.
