nice war paint ;) I see mud in the grill, im suprised you didnt flood the engine..or did you?...My dad did. He blew a hole in his block (I think hes stupid) I cant wait to go wheeling. And, you can do some seriously heavy dudy stuff stock...you just need to know how to drive it. (Im not saying you dont...but im saying to be able to do the mega big stuff stock you gota be a pro, and I know im far from that..)
no i didnt flood the engine thankfully. . . you can thank my cuzin for that... he entered the mud lake a little fast and created a nice "wave" that scared the sh*t out of me. but thankfully. . . no harm done... another thing that added a layer to that layer of mud was when you enter the mud lake from the back.... there is a nice steep drop off that the front end of course raised up out of but once again :D no harm done

thats always good. My dad has a 2000$ repair job ahead of him for not being mega careful about going through mud. (he has to buy a whole new engine, i got a look at his oil pan, the crank was forced into it) I plan on geting a snorkel. What mods do you plan for yours?
i am in the process of convincing my dad to let me buy a 3" lift kit.. and a snorkel sounds good also... gotta love that RAM-air.... much better performance MUCH

Nice color!! :D :D
yea the mud does go nicely with that color. . . HAHA whats even better is that every single little rice rocket with the lawnmower exhaust that i come near instantly backs off... ooor if you have a guy that knows his stuff.. he will come by and congradulate you and ask you what you did, and where....
i live in san jose california..... everyone who lifts their truck/jeep just lifts it for show NOBODY actually takes it out...
hey anybody here on this forum from the bay area???

Just have your dad come check out the forum and we can convince him that a 3 inch lift or so would be helpfull.
see you have to work your angles with parents. LIke in your case you want a lift right. so work the angle of it would prevent less damage to your rig when wheeling. if it's lifted less change of flooding and under body damage. try that and see if it helps.
the funniest thing is that a school club was having a car wash .... i knew this so i bought a car wash for $5 and went offroading.... the next day i went to recieve my $5 car wash. i can say this..... they WERE NOT THRILLED to see my jeep. i can still see their jaws drop when i pulled up.... i can say this it was a $5 car wash.... the did a crappy job. i went home and washed it for another 2 hours.... i am still pulling mud off the radiator :x and loose dirt is cusing my electric fans to vibrate... good thing i cleaned my engine out today...... no more vibs... clean engine

:D Where is your air intake? Im not sure if they changed them in the later years... (Mine goes straight ahead, right behind the driverside headlight, so a dive like that would...probally drown my engine..and I dont want that. What type of engine does your jeep got?
well my intake is RIGHT where yours is... HAHA and i have the 4.0L straight 6.... what made me lucky is that the mud was caused from a splash.... my whole engine compartment DID not submergy.... mud just splashed up

well thats good (I also have the I6, and same with my dad) when my dad flooded his engine, he was taking through a large creek, not just a splash. When he got home (with a hole in his block) we looked inside..the ENTIRE engine bay was brown with mud..even the firewall was covered with a thick layer
