Did anyone see that I saw a few shows on it when they were building it about 5 to 6 months ago and just now caught the show on it being taken out for a cruz. wow that was a sweet ride, and I like what and how they did it. Yes I know some don't like how they changed it so much but it was cool.

I Like it they kept the main body of it stock looking. the inside is far from stock looking but they did a classie job of it. The dash I belive was all left stock but new updated round tack was put in. the suspension and the V8 is where the big mods were made for it.

I caught that show too. Very, very Nice. Not too much, but enough to be able to put it to the task and, at the same time, make people say WOW! The thing they never tell you though, at least I never heard, was how much they spent restoring it. I've put about 8k into my 66' and I can tell you, it doesn't look anything like that. Hell, the paint job alone must have cost them a couple thousand.

O I'm sure they dumped a lot into it. but shows like that always get discounts on that work for just plugging that companies name into the show and the credits for helping out on that thing.

Of course they do but just once, I'd like to hear them say "this rig could be yours for just over $92,000.00" Then see what the response is. I think it would be more along the lines of "it sure as hell isn't worth that much" OR "I bet they couldn't keep up with me in the dirt".

Sure it's fun to watch but I put it in the same category as those bass fishing shows. You ever see them NOT catch a fish? Give me a break. I've been bass fishing for twenty years and haven't caught the fish they catch in a single show.

Nope, never tried dynamite. I'm sure it would get the job done. My point is still the same though, I think they should keep track of just how much it would cost you and I to do the same rebuild. Now, that would be interesting.

O heck ya I'm sure they do they just don't key us in on it. with paint motor and all the work they did and alot of custom work they spent 30k at least.

Oh, Im sure they do too but I've never heard them mention it on the T.V.
30K? I think that's concervative. I'm not talking about how much THEY paid. I know they probably got most of it for free. I'm talking about how much it would cost the average Joe. They rebuilt that thing from bumper to bumper. Having gone through it with my own, I know that they spent a very, very pretty penny. Hell, that's a Miss America penny.

And that's no $hit either.
It's still a beautiful vehicle though. I'd like to have a day with it in the dirt.

Anyone know exactly what was done with this Jeep?

Is there a way to get the shows that it was on?
