I have had this jeep for about two years. My brother and I did a frame-off rebuild and added 7" of custom SOA to fit the 35's. We purchased for $750.
This is an early shot after we got it runnin. It came to the house on a rollback and had to fix the brakes and clutch linkage.
Here is a pic after a roll cage and some primer.
Me goofin off durring the rebuild
This is the finished product. Purdy ain't it?
This was taken just after my first time in the mud with the new 35's.
What do you think?

I had a friend of my family, a retired welder, do it. I can weld but not good enough to trust my life on it. The hoops are just a stock hoop cut in half and welded in. Thanks for the complements guys.

The over all project has cost me about 3000. I got most of the parts used. The origional jeep cost me 750. The "new" frame was 100. 300 for a used tub. 1000 for tires and rims. 270 for lengthened drive shafts. 2 new fenders at 150 ea.( go steel) 75 for cage(we modified it heavily). 300 for front axle with disc brakes. and 50bucks for a truckload of stuff from Cincinnati.
As for takin her for a spin, if you come up from FL Id give ya a good ride.
