We're in OH weirdo. We should plan this. We could all go wheeling in Wellsville. It's closest to here.

O.K. jdogg4, I think you're elected to set it up. By then, we should have a few thousand people registered. (It'll still probably be the same few people posting though ref: come on people) TJMagoo, maybe you could make arrangements. Like, driving directions, where to meet, etc... If it's gonna happen, it's got to start now.
I'm about as far West as one could get. I'm right here just East of Los Angeles. If this thing goes off, I'd be more than happy to drive out to PA. Might just be a blast.
So that's four. AND COUNTING?

Id help out as much as I can. It's hard to come up with stuff to do in another state. But planning and list of people and what not That wouldn't be a problem. Gotta go working on a web page I will have to add the meet and great info to that as well. ok here is a sample of what I got. I just went thru this really fast like 10 min so no poking to much fun at me K.

That's not bad at all. It's one hell of a lot more than I could do. I'm lucky just to be able to type a reply let alone get this d@mn thing to work for me.
SO, why don't we take a poll of our fellow members to see who might be interested. First step, find out just how many people would be willing to go. Then, we can ask everyone the what their most convenient time frame is. Once we have it nailed down as far as the number of members and the time of year, TJMaggo, can't you work on setting up a gathering place? Some place with trails and camping? I bet you could even get your employer to help sponsor the thing, how bout that??? I'm sure it would be good advertisement somewhere.
What do you guys think?

That's cool. Sounds awesome to me. We could plan a whole camping and wheeling trip in Wellsville, aka Yellowcreek. Alot of the guys here go wheeling there too so I am sure we could get a good group going. Usually on a good day when we get a group to go, we have about 8-10 jeeps.
Keep me posted and we'll make plans.

Lets think of a few things needed.
Spot/location
trail rides
permission or passes for those areas if it is a park area do we need a park pass and what not.
how long will this last three days like fri sat sun or thu fri sat
or 4 days thr - sud
If we set it for say the one year anniv. date of when this page went live what was the actual date.
Alot depends on how many people are going to go. Say it is one year form around the nov. time then we could have alot more people willing to go to this. Kinda like a jeep jamboree but the big cost per person isn't going to be there.
and the area can it support that many jeeps staying for that long.

Let's not set it for when this forum went live b/c we would be looking at mid Nov. Not what I would call prime camping weather but I have camped in colder.
Location could be the local wheeling spot around here, wellsville. No one quite knows who owns it so there are no passes needed.

I'm with you TJMagoo!!! Not in November.
The fall might be good though or maybe even late summer, say around August.
TJMagoo, can you post a poll or something to see how many people will sign on?
A suggestion though, you might want to make it ONLY for signing on and not a discussion about it. (Jdogg likes to talk, don't you Jdogg?) That way, maybe once a week, you can move it up to the front or, at least, update it so that it doesn't get lost at the bottom of the pile of posts. You could just ask for people to sign up, whether or not they'd drive their rig, and when in the next 12 months would be best. That way, the rest of us could look it up to see how it's coming along. When we get enough people, then we can make the plan of attack. What do you think?

Just a thought July 4 2003 is on a Friday and most people have it off. Will make it easier on the people who have to Take time from work to drive out to PA or OH or where ever it is going to be. I vote OH 4wd is there and can help us with parts after we Hurt our rigs on the trail. :D

Ok. I will make a poll for the meet and greet and see if we can narrow down when we should plan this. Either 4th of July or I was even thinking Labor Day too.

I'd like to, but before July 25th of '03 I can't. I'm only 15 and only have my permit. My parents are kind of fruity, I'd be half embarssed to have them with me. :P
I bought a Jeep and no where to go except my yard and the woods. Oh well.
I got a Q for you 4wd people. Do you own those showroom Jeeps? They look good in the mags and even better in person. I'll take that '89 w/ the Vette engine off your hands if you ever need the extra cash. 8)

Yeah the jeeps that are in the showroom are ours. All of the jeeps in jeep row (in case you have been here) are the employees. Have you been in the showroom? Where are you from?

Yep, been there twice.
Ok, the YJ with the chrome tube front bumper, it sports 4wd's 3 1/2 lift. I know it has the BFG ATs, but are they 31's or 33's? I can't rememer off hand. Im going to get the 4wd lift (3 1/2) as soon as I pay off the Posi-Lok I ordered and save some cash up.
Who owns the red YJ with the flat fender, milemarker(?, might be a diff brand) 8k winch, superlift, and mean green starter? IT also has swampers on it. That thing is totally BAD A$$!!!!

On the black YJ right? Those areactually 32's. Now the *ahem* Bad A$$ (notice the dollar signs to disguise swear words) He is one of our technicians. He is also on our site under this link: http://www.4wd.com/internal/funandgames/mudmag/hotseat.asp

LOL!!!! Are you joking or being for real? I don't need a ride in it, in case your wondering. :D
I like the idea of low COG and big tires. 3 1/2" lift, 33's, alittle fender trimming, re-gear to 4.88's, and I should be all set!

June to mid August would work. I have to burn a week of vacation during that time frame anyway and my better half is a school teacher and would be able to get away also. We usually go to the north Georgia mountains, I guess we could go a little further north next time :D
