Front reciever hitch

Hello, I just bought a 2006 Liberty Limited (Couldnt buy the CRD because I live in MA.) (Bastards) Anyway, I would like to know if i put a front reciever hitch on the jeep if it would void my warranty? I bought the extended warranty 5 year 70K miles. I know it is a bolt on option but there is a little modifacation you have to do to the front bumber to make it fit.
