My 1993 Wrangler Yj is screaming for a suspension lift but I don't want to do a spring over kit I have a 3" body lift with 33/12.50/15's. Can anyone recomend a lift for me? I want to go as tall as possible? I am looking at the skyjacker rock ready 4" double wrap. Can I add a leaf?

Thanks :USA:

I just purchased a Pro Comp 4" kit from National Tire and Wheel in Wheeling WV. Ran me $571 for everything(leaf springs shocks pitman arm and hardware)Havent gotten it installed yet but my friends run pro comp and i hear alot of good things about them(stiff spring but last for a long time)And with the 3" BL u already have it will give you plenty of height. My buddy is running a 4" pc lift with a 3" body and has plenty of room for his 33's. Just a suggestion if you are looking for something tall but not "too" expensive. Good luck!

If it's anything like their crappy 6" Rock Ready mono lift, save your money. It sags like crazy in no time  Pro Comp's 4" is quite stiff, but some folks like 'em that way. Superide 3˝" (by Superlift) and 4WD Hardware's 3˝" won't jarr your eye teeth loose. Add some lift shackles and you're just as high.

the best thing to do is ask around do the research its a key part of your jeep...

I run a 4.5 inch Rubicon Express Heavy Duty lift and know many others that have the same set up and we all love it!! ride great and performs kick ass!! and it is the most complete kit that i have found, here is what you get:
4 heavy duty military wrap spring
stainless extended break lines
boomerange shackles
sway bar disco's
all greasable bolts
t-case drop kit
pitman arm
4 shocks
and you get about 5-5.5 inches of lift
and i did not need any body lift to clear 33's
a little fender triming with my new TJ flares and i can run 35's

if you are running a 3in BL... a 4 inch suspension lift will give you a good height... i have about 8inches of lift and i have to jump to get in my jeep...
i am running 33x12.50's but my jeep would look better w/ a bit bigger tire, im looking at 38's possibly, as long as they wont rub

I'm a big fan of the 4" Skyjacker Softride, great flex & ride. Swapped one on a friend's '91 YJ, and she loves it!! Longer shackles will make it flex better. (but don't go crazy)
