There were several of them at Camp Jeep. Here are a couple of pics from Jeep.com 07 Wranglers (http://www.jeep.com/en/wranglers/)

You know, 4" lift or so w/ 33's or 35's & a set of tubed flatty front fenders & I think that thing will be a looker!!!

It doesn't even need flat fenders, just remove all that plastic!

my favorite part is that it is probably made of more Liberty parts, than TJ parts. like the whole front end.....
but 4 doors is neat

first of all i would like to point out solid axles front and rear 44's, body on frame design not unibody, came with 31's, tow hooks front and rear, top comes off, doors come off, windshield folds down...ect. may look a little different but still a wrangler.
can't wait for the aftermarket to start making lifts for them. i think they will be great for offroading. i look forward to putting 33's on it in the near future.
the sticker price with the options i got on it was 25,700. i like it alot so far. rides nice. the infinity 7-speaker stereo sounds great. like the sunrider top. came with power windows, locks, keyless entry, auto, and 4.10 gears.
i am actually very happy they put plastic front fenders on them. on my 89 yj that was one of the worst spots for rust b/c they would get chiped from rocks getting kicked up at them. pics of a couple of my other jeeps. still have the cj3a.

Have you tried to take the doors off yet? I am curious to see how that works with all the new gadgetry. Take some pics of that if you could.

IIRC those fenders are also supposed to be easy to remove. I think you did great and while we all grumble at change I am hearing more good than negative about the JK.

Front and rear d44's on an x model? Damn I should have waited!!! I thought that the new 4doors only had d44's in the rear like the LJ's? Anyway Sweet ride man! Lift that baby!!!!

It looks like it would be a good daily driver, and having four doors would make it nice for the kids. With a lift and some 35 should be trail worthy. Looks like a good excuse to buy a Wrangler to me.
CJ is not going anywhere though!
Here is one that is an actual JK modded by an aftermarket company on 37's; and one that is photochopped on 35's with a fast back. Not too shabby
I am kinda fond of the color of this one

I like it...thought the rear door reminds me a bit of a VW Thing.

It's not bad lifted, I was against the whole 4 door wrangler but lifted its not bad at all, and with the fast back and the paint job it looks even better. Now just to loose all that gd plastic!

I have been waiting patently for my local dealer to finally get the 4 door in and to day on the way home from physiacal therapy I saw maroon one sitting in his showcase spot out front.Me and the wife will be stopping in to take a look at them this week.I love my XJ and this is everything I've wanted'd out of an XJ but couldnt have so it looks like it's trade in time.

looks like it needs a lift and some bigger tires to offset the size difference.

Looked at one the other day, front end is not libby. Looks like it, but it isn't. It is a better replacement for the Cherokee than the Libby will ever be anyway.
At least it isn't a front wheel/4 wheel like the Comp(***)! The dealer had one of them too, talk about barftastic.
The odd thing with the new Unlimited, I like them, but I don't like the new regular Wranglers.

I can't give a real good impression since I only test drove it, but honestly I thought it was pretty good. They probably could have pushed a bit more out of it, but what the heck. The 3.8 V6 is a proven motor too. If the wife and I pick one up I will let you know what I really think since it is going to be my daily driver.

jpmagazine.com has a couple of nice write ups on it. They didn't really have too many negative things to say. Haven't seen one yet, so I'll wait to give my opinion until then.

I'm still curious to see what they look like with the massive front flares removed. Is there a flat fender underneath, or is it just an 'ala Leadfoot' type job?

the engine has pretty decent power for a wrangler. i've had it about a month now and enjoy it as my daily driver. the power does come at a little higher rpm than 4.0L. took it on the highway the other day felt pretty stable cruising at 70mph. soft top really quiet too. no problem carring on conversation.
nothing under front fenders except for one metal support about 3in wide at middle of top of fender.

I like the 4 door, it's somethin' to blow the H3 outa the water! not that it ever really was competition, the H3 is a canyon/colorado with a hummer lookin' body and they are horrible for visibility, power, suspension, turnin' radius, etc. I just HATE the H3, one of my customer's has one, he only brings it in for oil changes, looked it over real good, not a spot of dirt under it! he'll never take it offroad, it's also got the $2000 pioneer nav system and all that. I didn't like the JK 4 door at first but it's growin on me, especially that cool hardtop! the local dealer hasn't gotten one in yet, I wanna drive it!!
