Have a limited 2005 with the 6-disc in dash w/steering controles.
I dont want to screw up my dash and I dont see how to pull the radio.
I want to add my amp and subwoofers so I need to connect to RCA connections.
There is an under the drivers seat sub woffer offered as being o.e.m.. Is there a harness connection there?
I also have:
My 85 cj 7 (1st car 16 years now) with lots of mods.
Wifes 2000 wrangler.

I am not being an azz here....
Dont you think it would be easier to go to best buy or something. They are usually very experienced with most new vehicle types and they will be very proficient at removing your deck and installing what ever it is you want done. Your going to get charged a few bucks but it is better to pay for it than screw up your rig, just my .02

I know some one who Had his radio harness totally mangled at best buy, they said they would use an adapter and didn't. He found this out when he had a speaker go out a bit later. Plus when he got in to the wiring they had cut and - only twisted the wires together and just used electrical tape!
Ive had pros install my stuff before but I prefer to do it my self any how ----just because thats how I am (my trade is general fabrication). Besides I am only talking about doing a simple hook up, two RCA cables, auto on off and power. I already have monster cables and all.
If there is no RCA out puts I will have to get an adapter from crutchfield or some where else.
I also have more time than money at the present:(...
Thanks though.

Well if I can remember I will go look at my wifes libby tonight and see what it takes to get the dash apart.
I dont have much experience with either the Jeep or the Libby but it seems, as do most vehicles now at days, that just about everything is snapped together.
I had to take apart her grill cause she killed a bird and it was stuck inside and I didnt even need to get out tools to take the grill off! So I would imagine that the dash is pretty simple.
