Here she is after the latest in the improvments. I just picked up the wheels and tires from TJMagoo, and a lift from 4wd at the same time. Here is the 95 YJ in all her glory.

Tell me what you all think. I like it.

Hey TJ how do you like the wheels now? I love em. :rock  :t

I thought you would like it. I spent 3 days on the lift. In the driveway, with hand tools. No air at all. I can't believe I did it. By the way, you are right the wheels look bad A$$ on the YJ. I plan on finishing up the rest of the stainless accents on her to really get some looks.
The next thing I need is some fender flares. I already got told by a couple of cops to get the tires covered. I am torn between the Xenon TJ flares for the YJ or the Bushwhacker pocket style. %P Such a hard decision.

The lift looks great, but I think those tires are a little worn, probably by the last owner :*

Seriously.....looks terriffic :t Good job! I bet you broke your ass without power tools :x

I can't even begin to tell you how bad I got my a$$ kicked. It took me 3 damn days to do it. :bang: I had to replace 4 pieces of brake line while doing the lift. I had to replace the rear brake hose(no one in Erie had one. I had to drive an hour south to pick one up.) Then on the way down to the Erie Jeep People M&G I popped the fourth and final brake line. So not only do I have a nice new 3.5 inch lift, new wheels and slightly used tires, but I have a new rear brake hose and all new steel brake lines.
There is an upside however, I was the center of attention at the M&G for about an hour. The people there had only seen my TJ and when I pulled up in the YJ they didn't have a clue who I was. So it was a nice surprise to see the look on everyones face when I hopped out of it.
The worst of the whole thing was that I pulled my back out trying to get it all together. As a result of that I missed a day of work, and a night of school. But I did it. All by myself. Ok so I had some help from the wife. She acctually had a really good time helping me out. That is the first time she got down and dirty with me in a project like this. She had a real blast. With the exception of my cussing and swearing and screaming and shouting about the broken brakes. But looking back, I would do it again, just the same as this time.  :t . But I would like some air the next time.

The YJ is tan. It is a rio grande. It used to have a tan top. We had a hole in the rear window so the whole top got replaced. I can't wait till we finish all the other mods. A little at a time, but we will get there.(we have 3 other projects going too) ;) :* Any other questions? :)

Kind of a silly question but why all the Jeep but now air, compressors aren't really that much. Get one and your wife will love the whine.......

Just a recomendation.

Nice jeep, looks sweet.

I am the wife. I would love to have air, but we need a garage too. We are looking at building one asap. There is a possibility that I may be laid off so we are waiting to see what happens. I work for the federal gov't. (nuff said) :USA:

Hey when we start on the garage any of you Erie Jeepers want to help???

Sure. I'll spring for some beverages(sp?) and a nice bar-bee-Que.. I hope we can get started soon on that project. Rebuilding the 5 in the driveway would stink!!!>
