I'm on my second YJ (1995). It was my first "new" vehicle. I drove it off the lot with 102 miles on it. I've added Rancho RS5000 shocks, Rhino bedlining inside and on the front and rear, Steel Horse mirrors, and I use Mobil 1 full synthetic. I hope it lasts as long as I do. Otherwise, I'll be buying a 70s or earlier tricked out CJ5. No more new ones for me.

I've had a 1980 CJ5, a 1972 Jeepster Commando, a 1995 Grand Cherokee, and a 1993 YJ.

Lets see. I have 1 YJ, '95 Rio Grande 2.5, added Bestop Supertop, 2" body lift, 31x10.5 Bridgestone Dueler MT's. I also have 1 TJ, '01 SE 2.5, No mods yet but the suspension lift is on the way. :D

i have 2 YJ's at my house that i drive(none of them are actually MINE)

the mods on my primary driver('94) are on my signature

on the other('95) one its just stock w/ biggest tires you can stuff in the wheel wells

That's why I said "the forum (and respect) they deserve??" :razz:
It just seems that the YJs are always lumped in with the TJs on all the forums, even though a YJ is a lot more like a CJ. (except for the headlight shape). They both have leaf springs, and almost half their production run were available w/the 258. I only have round headlight Jeeps right now, but fully respect the YJ. Not trying to bust stones, and understand your descision, was just trying to boost the underrated YJ. 8)
