well while driving down the highway today did my normal scan of the jeep dealer and THERE IT WAS!!!! 4 door wrangler! Screamed for the G/F to stop so we can take pics. At first from far away i was impressed but as i got closer i really didn't like what i was seeing. There is ALOT of plastic on it, cheap roll bar padding (as seen in a pic). Huge plastic shroud under bumper. Everything just looked so cheap! Flimsy plastic everywhere, the doors seem like they would be alittle hard to take off since the straps have rubber at the end with huge plugs for the windows. Oh yeah the windows, there arnt any window controls on the back doors if you want your window up or down you have to ask someone in the front seat since the controls are on the center console. In all i just wasn't very impressed,

I'm not trying to hurt anyones feelings who already has one this is just my opinion. To each his own. i really thing DC just dropped the ball on something that could of been really great.

your right to much plastic, another reason to put new bumpers on..

I think the reason for the switches being in the front, its less electrical components in the removeable doors, its also safety feature if you have kids. most cars now have the switches off the door and in the middle.

there are window switches in the back for the back seat passengers. they are mounted in the back of the center console just above the drink holders.
there are plugs inside the jeep not the doors for disconecting the wiring that runs to the doors, pretty easy to do. i dont think the rollbar padding is bad although i agree it could be made better. mine doesn't seem to be loose like the pic on webshots. the plastic piece under the front bumper is there to hide the drop down bumper they had to put on to meet federal regulations from what i was told. i agree with you on that, not great looking at all. i plan on replacing both front and rear bumpers anyway once some become readily available through the aftermarket.
