Posi-Lok installation

Wound up I got Posi-Lok for Christmas. Whoo hoo! :D

Installation doesn't look hard or easy, so, just wondering if any of you guys have tips for me before I tackle this project. Has your cable ever streched (sp)? Do you think upgrading to the cast iron shift fork is worth it? TIA.

Thanks! What did you get? I don't think you can get posi-lok at all for your TJ, since 4wd doesnt work the same. :)

Hi, I also got a posi-lok for christmas. i have just installed it in my 89 yj and had no problems but it takes a little wile to get it adjusted right so it goes fully in and out corectly.

You got one of the best things for your yj's 4-wheel drive.congradulations.
I installed mine in about 20 minutes. the hardest part was finding a drill bit big enough for the hole you have to drill in the firewall.
