I was just curious. I really don't know the specs nor the details of the new jk but is the interior as weather resistant and easy to wash out and clean as the TJ???

when you say as weather resistent and all, does that mean that if the stero and all will not be effected from rain or other water that you might run into on the trail, i mean i know that if its submerged it probably wouldnt work again but is it safe from rain?

Well on the tj you have features like the cluster panel. The bottom of it has like rubber or something so water cannot get into it. And you have your drain holes in the tub of the jeep. 2 of which are in floor infront of your seat. and the other two in the rear floor of the jeep. I have seen pics of the new interior and it looks like if your were to get mud or water on it then it would be runied. I like the TJ more. But thats my opinion.

I know that the carpet still comes out and that there are still draiin holes in the floor. As for how easy the carpet really comes out who knows.

the carpet will pull out just as easy as the TJ's.

seems to be as water resistance as a TJ too..

I wouldnt suggest driving up stream in a river....
