5000# according to the manual. I'm pushing the limit, but it tows good, and with both braking axles, it stops good too. Only problem is the 4.0, wish I had a V8 now, didn't plan to tow when I bought it. Towed the TJ to Camp Jeep in Virginia, and on to Virginia Beach, last year with no problems. Just had bought the trailer the week before we left, supposed to had brakes on both axles when it came in, but it only had one and didn't have time to wait to have it added. Went to Va Beach and back and noticed it pulled to one side some when I hit the brakes. When I got home I took it back to have the other braking axle added, and had him check the existing brakes. Come to find out that one of the brake wires was apparently broken from the factory, I only had one wheel braking :drop: Scares me to death to think about it now. Main problem on the trip was going over the mountains of West Va, lugged the 4.0. Definitely need a HEMI!!!!
