So any news on the gladiator? Maybe someone who works for DC?

That sucks I was hoping they made it. I thought they said in Jp or peterson's that it was a no go, then said that they might, then was a no go.....well too bad.

Anyone see the new JP magazine? The Wrangler "JT" truck may be coming soon. It's not really the Gladiator, but it's pretty sweet looking. The specs look pretty much like that of the '07 Rubicon. I guess Jeep's Skunk Werks had it out at Moab driving it around, and JP was there to see it. I don't have a picture, and I didn't bother finding one on JP's website. If you want to see it, go buy the July 2007 JP. Anyway, I hope that thing makes it!!

Browsing over at Rubicon Owners Forum, Mike at 4x4ROCKSHOP.com
drove the JT truck at the Jeep Proving Grounds on 6/21, and posted a short video of it.

I know many here have been lusting for the next Jeep truck, this may be it!!

Here's a link to the vid...

Man that JT is SWEET. I also read about it in JP. It's all off the shelf parts and could be put into production. The back is from what Jeep sells to some 3 world ****ry as a military vehicle.

The Gladiator is officially dead, but Jeep is testing several versions of the JK including a truck on the 4door chassis.
That's as close as we will get to a new Jeep truck. But keep in mind, production is still not approved.

gladiator will never be OFFICALLY dead... latest rumors are that it will be built off the dakota chasis... which sucks.

it's one of those projects that will be forever on the back burner. the JT has now stollen it's thunder... for now... and who knows how that will finally turn out.

i'd love to see the gladiator make it... but not on a dokata chasis... what would be the point?
