I'm preparing my Wrangler for a 4" lift with 33's. I put a Brute Force Intake system and now looking for a high flow exhaust. I'm not looking for a loud sound, but I am looking for more HP. Any suggestions?

HP isn't going to get back the lost power, gears are you best power mods.

I agree, regearing is the only reasonable way to get back that lost power. It's really important that you re-gear if you're gonna run bigger (33" or bigger) tires. The engine won't have a lot of grunt to give to spinning tires if the gearing is still running at stock ratios.

Yeah, I agree. I regeard my TJ to 4.56 with 33x10.50's. Although now I wish I would've gone with 4.88's.

after you regear, think about a Borla header/cat back, it will give you a good 10+%HP. TJ

Talk to me like I'm a 4 year old in reference to regearing please. I take it I should prepare to regear my vehicle. I assume this would be the transmission? 4.88 were mentioned, are there any other opinions on what gears?

no problem, your after new ring and pinion gears in your axles, check out this site. 4wheelparts.com/4wheel/Tirel_gear_ratio.asp it should help you out. TJ

i definitly reccomend 4.88's. when i got my 33's i ended up breaking my rear axel and i happened to talk to someone who had a front and rear axel w/ 4.11's (i had 3.73's), so i snagged em and put em on...now my car still has a little trouble pushing these tires...i am going to upgrade ASAP.
