WTB: 1/4" plate steel & angle iron.

I need some steel to fab up my rocker protection & my flat skid plate on my YJ.

For the skid I need a piece of 1/4" plate about 42" wide by anywhere from 30" - 48" long.

For the Rocker Protection, I'd like to find 2 (almost) 5' long pieces of 1/4"x3"x5" angle. I could also

Sebulsky's in St. Clairsville, OH is the only metal supply that I've found close to me, and they want almost $200 for a 4x8 sheet of 1/4". They won't sell partial sheets. I didn't even bother pricing the angle with them.

I'm down to $250 left in my Jeep budget, and I still need to fab up the exhaust, so price is essential.

Any help would be appreciated.

Most steel supply places have scrap that they sell.
Did you try that? You can most often get what you need or close to it that way.

McMaster carr will sell smaller pcs but they can be pricy also. worth a look on their web site.
