Trying to post a pic . . . .

Getting message file too large. Allowed 39.1KB and my smallest pic is 49KB. If I bought the book, Computers for Dummies, I would need someone to read it to me. Any way to make digital photos smaller without diminishing the quality of the pic? Looked in the FAQ and couldn't find any info. Thanks for any and all help.

What site are you using to host your pics? Photobucket allows free hosting as well as picture size editing. Photobucket (http://www.photobucket.com)

Thanks for the reply. Will check out the web site. I am loading the pictures into my computer and then cropping everything but the Jeep. Pictures started around 100KB and I cropped them down to 50KB. Thanks again for the web site info.

Don't just cut down the size, try to change the DPI of the photo. If you are working with web only photo you can go as low as 75 without loosing too much detail.
