windshield frame install

I havent had much luck finding a windshield, so Ill have to have one cut...anyhow,

Im having problems getting my winshield aligned.

The problem occurs when I fold back the windshield to cowl seal, one ends(windshield frame) is closer to the cowl than the other. Do i correct this by shaving the rubber to even this out. and hope the clamps pull to enough?

I didnt install the windshield hardware on the side, so I not sure if that where the problem is, and I dont wanna mess with taking them off and moving one up/down I'm not a bodyman, so im sure id screw it up

How about that trade? willys and the CJ/5?

I installed got the windshield in without breaking it,,,,I'll never replace on again....it was a PTA, And installed on the jeep, the adjustable brakets I got from 4WD made the difference, I still wont be able to fold it down, the clamps hit the roll cage, and theres no way to fix the problem. Now its time for the airbrush work on the hood.
