got 55,000 miles on the wife's '04 Libby, it still has the factory brake pads. i have a new set of pads that i've had for over a year figuring they were due. they look like they still have a long way to go. how long do these pads last? i've never seen any brake pad last this long, especially a factory pad.

That's pretty impressive.
If I get 15k out of factory pads, I'm doing well.
Quirk perhaps?
Or driving conditions? If your wife doesn't do a lot of stop and go driving... maybe that's alright.
How does it stop? No problems?

That's way better than our Libby. It's lucky to get 25K on a set of pads. My wife does tend to burn though tires and brakes, though. One ride with her and you'll understand.:icon_eek:

finally changed the factory pads today. got 63,325 miles out of them. the back ones still have at least another 20- 25,000 left on them. easiest vehicle i've had to change brake pads, but jacking this thing with IFS sucks bigtime.

Where I work we replace fronts at 3/32 or less and the rears at 4/32 or less.
