Ok so I am not much for writing reviews but was asked my thoughts on my intake so Ill give it a shot.

It was a very simple installation took me like 30 minutes with removing the stock box and tubes. Came with easy step by step instuctions which I would not really follow they have you putting it together piece by piece and it was easier to semi tighten all the tubes together first get your placement then tighten all.

The box for the air filter(which is a K&N oil cone filter and huge) is nice and encases the filter away from engine with a opening on the passenger side by hood. If you look at my ablum in my sig you can see a pic where I am covered in mud and the filter stayed pretty well protected.

Performance wise it sounds great going thru the gears which I have a auto so probably more notable with a stick. Throttle response seems to be incresed somewhat. It does feel like I got some power and torque out of it but without putting it on a dyno I cant really say. Fuel has changed a smidge maybe 2 MPG increase depending on how I am feeling that day.

Its very well made Its a much larger system then the stock and gives me the feel that I am getting more in all catagories. The price is right there name speaks for itself there service was great for me when I ordered a extra filter to keep on hand and I have zero issues with it. Hope this helps someone and hope its makes sense :). Pics are in sig album as well.

thanks for the post

I've been contemplating either the banks or the K&N. The banks looks a bit more heavy duty and seems as though it would be easier to keep the filter clean.

thanks for the pics - some products always look better when installed.
