I have a 54 Willys truck and could use some front fenders. If any one knows were I could pick some up please let me know. Any other truck owners on here?

I was thinking the fenders from the willys jeep are the same as the truck.

There is a used farm and equipment dealer outside Gnadenhutten that had some Willys' Pickups when I lived down there as well as our rolled grass fire Willys', I'm heading down there Thursday, I'll check and see if they still have them, also try Wainright Salvage sorry I don't have a number but it's a 740 area code they used to have alot of old jeeps and scouts.

Hey. I am new to this forum and noticed you guys were talking about Willys trucks. I own a green 1955 that I am in the process of restoring. It is great to talk to other people who hopefully love them as much as I do.

Mine is Green also for now.

What color are you planning on repainting it?

Mine still has the original 226 Super Hurricane inline four cylinder. It doesn't do well at high speeds (55 or above) but it is great for bumming around in the mountains of Colorado.

I thought about red, but I may go with a darker green. When I got mine it didn't have a motor in it. But it did have two transmissions and transfer cases.
Just sold one of them. It's all striped down right now waiting for some body work. I need to clean out my garage so I can put it back inside. It's covered with a tarp at the moment.

A dark green would look great. When I repaint mine it is going to be the same green that it came in from the factory.

Currently mine is undergoing a bit of a restoration. Up to date, I have rebuilt the brake lines, installed a new fuel pump, put on Superwinch hubs, and redone all of the wiring.

Maybe this summer I'll get some work done on mine. If I don't have to put to much money in my other Jeeps

Yah it seems that a lack of money/time always gts in the way of our projects.

I almost took the tarp off of it today, but they called for rain. Thought I would start some body work on it. Guess it will have to wait.

yah rain and body work do not mix very well.

This summer I plan on getting new tires, new bushings on the suspension, re-appolstering the seat and prepping the body for some new paint.
