ARE THERE ANY 4x4 CLUBS IN TUCSON ARIZ THAT DO NOT FOCES ON EXTREAM OFF ROADING.
It is hard to find a group that does exactly what you want. So face the facts that there will be some on the extreme and others that trail ride.
Years ago it was trail riding and now the rock crawling everyone thinks they have to do the extreme. That in turn leads to trails being closed.

I love a chalange but I can't see tearing up the trails and my equpment. In Arizona their is a big push to get us off the desert because of too many people distorying the enviorment.

Heck, they're closing EVERYTHING here! If it's state land, you can't do anything there, not even pick a flower! ...and it's ALL state land!:damnit:

i think its pretty much every state thats dealing with major land closures. here in cali theres another trail facing closure every other day. i suggest you get involved and dont just complain about it.
im sure theres a club out there for you. took me awhile but i finally found a group out here that does it all mild to wild and is heavily active in preserving our trails. if you look for a club thats listed as truly family oriented than youll find a club thats into the less extreme stuff.
google arizona off road clubs. i found like 50, im sure theres 1 thats right for you

Been involved as I can be for lots of years in different states. You're right, but it still gets disheartening.:zbangh:
