Does anybody know anything on billiet alum wheel spacers? I saw some advertised on a mag, and was wondering if this would be a good option for gaining some width.

First, check to see if wheel spacers are legal for your state. Also, if you use a spacer, will your wheels extend past your fenders/flairs (illegal in some states).
Second, you don't want to increase width with wheel spacers if you use your Jeep hard at all (rock crawling). It will increase the leverage on your wheel studs and eventually break them. The only correct way to widen your stance is to install wider axles.
I don't know what your Jeep specs are at this point. Most of us go to a wider rim and/or taller/wider tires.

For the most part, spacers are used when changing from one axle to another (obviously narrower) axle. A popular one here is the venerable Explorer axle swap for XJ jeeps. Using a spacer set without a dyed-in-the-wool need for it will just lead to more problems.
If you are looking for a wider track (for some reason) check the size of wheel you have and exchange it for a model that is offset further. Joker's not talking out of his butt though, you will strain and eventually break something. Be careful here, it could very well be an expensive, major something too.
