Got the Eaton E-locker installed in the rear end by a local shop last week. They found one bearing and race in bad shape. This is in an '01 TJ Sport with 80,000 miles on it. The E-locker works as advertised. Used it in the Black Hills today while out Geocaching.
In the winter I put on my set of studded tires. The E-locker is open when off and that will be good on the ice and snow. This winter we had lots of snow here in the Black Hills.
I am sold on the Eaton so far.

I was too until mine broke. Holding up so far after I rebuilt it.
When they work they are awsome. When they break good luck, customer srevice is less than good. Took me 6 months to get parts.
What application is this for? D44? Mine was in an 8.8. Haven't heard of many breaking, but my experience kinda sucked.

Now don't quote me on this but I am pretty sure i was reading a thread that stated that Eaton lockers have a tendency to break in 8.8's... I'll try and find the thread but no promises. Oh and I remember them saying customer service sucked!
