Do you Guy's in the good old USA have LPG over there ?

I've just converted my Grand Cherokke to run on Gas and it's saving me a fortune.

Petrol, over here is about £1.30 ( $ 2.55 ) a litre unleaded.

LPG is about 50p ($1) a litre.

Are the connections to fill your tank the same as the ones to fill the small propane tanks for a gas grill? LPG is an interesting option, I just don't know if there are many places around me to fill up.

Im not sure fella.

The fitting is a push and twist connection.

We have many Fuel Garages that sell the LPG so there is plenty to choose from.

It's certainly available here, but not too many vehicles are equipped to run it.

whats the fuel economy on it? I know LPG has less power, but Ive been pondering putting an LPG tank on my truck, to run with the gas as well, shut the gas off on flat, run LPG and run gas on hills and the boondocks where theres no LPG

my father and uncle own a truck driving company and they recieved a flyer just the other day from this place american alternative fuel ( www.americanaltfuel.com ), they claim it'll increase fuel economy by about 2 mpg, but this isnt just converting to propane its a propane injection so it uses diesel and propane, im actually surpised a lot of automobile manufactures havent considered this based on emission laws because propane burns a lot cleaner then gasoline
