That thing is just wrong. I think they should put it back on the drawing board.

I give it a month before those "street jeepers" have it. That's where it belongs. And, it's a disgrace to give it the jeep name. Especially coming from Willys.

you've never seen that o man DC has been working on that for a few years now. I wont be surprised if it is out on the market with in a year or so. I think there going to push the KJ a bit longer and see how sales go with that then if they start to slip then there going to send that thing out for sale.

are those 20s....i thought it was ugly when dodge started coming factory with 20 in rims, even on the 4x4s, how many companies make an all terrain or mudder for 20s? i mean cmon, u spend that much more money for 4x4, yet they probably would never use it.

Unfortunately there's a market for such hideous design. Look at the Aztec & the Avalanche. UGH!! (a sincere apology to anyone who actually owns one of those...)

81JeepCJ is right look at the kj and other things like the aztec and avelanche and the handa elemant or what ever it is called. There all strange looking and there getting away from what a SUV really is or was. to many yuppy people out there want to get back to nature and there the ones with the money. and we all know the car co. are aiming at what the people with money want.

Jdogg's right as far as the market for the SUV is concerned. I only have two problems with todays market. 1. the people buying SUV's will NEVER put them into the dirt and 2. They put the absolute best equipment on a vehicle that, throughout it's life, may only see a dirt road (if it's extremely lucky).

Has anyone ever seen the specs on those Toyota Landcruisers? All the best. tranny, t-case, air lockers, computerized thing-a-ma-jigs that recognize the available traction on the road and adjust the wheels accordingly, EVERYTHING, top of the line. Then, they put a $50K+ price tag on it. Amazing!!! You think someone that spends 50 grand on a vehicle is really going to get it dirty? No way. I think, they should go back to offering "basic" models, and allow you to custom build your vehicle.
"Basic" meaning, no power accessories, no carpet, no leather, no a/c, etc... That way, a guy could put whatever they wanted to make a vehicle that was USEFULL and yet, not cost an arm and a leg and, more imprtantly, not have to get a bunch of fluffy things just to get what he wanted.

yep thats whats forcing us to take old jeeps and 4X4's and outfit them ourselfs opening up a whole new market or should I say aftermarket stuff. So that part of it isn't bad. I just hate the fact that It took me forever to be able to afford my jeep. and I know I'm going to cry when I jack it up for the first time on the trails but it will be worth it in the long run. I live in CO and almost everyone/family owns at least one SUV of somekind or another driving up insurance and gas in CO is horable. Thats another thing the rich people don't have a problem spending 50 thousand on a SUV but B!tch about how much gas cost to drive them so then they come out with low powerd motors that are better on gas. I'm all about not abusing killing dinosors and all but come on.

Just another good reason to be on good terms with your friendly neighborhood bone yard owner :) They'll start showing up in the yards and WE will be putting all those new/barely used parts to good use :D

HA HAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA Yes, There really is a Jeep God!
