I got one a few months ago and like it. I only have had 2 playing around pulls on it, but it is worth the 300. Smittybuilt has an excellent warranty department. It is good enough to let me save up for a warn for a year.

i like mine. i can lock up all four wheels and drag it accross dry pavement.
the only thing is it pulls a lot of current for the stock alternater.
