Has any one else ever thought that the factory hex nut with its fold over lock ring was junk. well i thought up a good fix
using a spindle nut set off any 70s 80s 1/2 ton but they are too wide the way they are but thread pitch is the same so just mill 1/8 inch off of them and they fit great and you have a lock ring that is thicker and indexes off a pin rather than a thin sheet of steel
you also have to use the 1/2 ton spindle nut socket with four prongs to remove and install them, but I feel a lot better having some thing a little beefier holding my front wheels on.
