Is anybody using ARB Diff Covers? I would like to know how well the drain plug works?

Another question unrelated to ARB's...Why dont aftermarket diff covers have o-rings to seal the surfaces? Seems to me that machining tolerances could be larger if an o-ring was used instead of RTV. Plus it would be alot easier on us when changing the gear oil.

Anyway what do yall think about ARBs Diff Covers with the drain plug?

O rings also need precision machining, (20% crush on the nominal diameter) but the surface sealing area of a O ring in theory is really quite small, and cant very well take pressure (sometimes even the pressure of the weight of the oil) where as RTV has ALOT of surface area. and it is really easy, quick and cheap to take a large face mill to mill a flat surface over having to take a mill saw or end mill to machine a precision slot.

from what ive heard, the ARB covers are the bee's knees. adds some bling to your truck along with extreme durability, ive also heart it stiffens the diff as well due to its extreme ragidity.
