Water pump coolant leak?

I've been plagued with coolant system problems. I had the water pump replaced and then the radiator springs a leak so I had it replaced. Now my water pump is leaking. Can I loosen the radiator cap on my Jeep so I can drive it to the shop to have some warranty work done? Will this stop the coolant system from pressurizing to give me more time to get to the shop?

I'm not a mechanic if you haven't figured that out yet. :)

Not a good idea.....The water will blow out thru the loose cap. Fill it up and take some water with you or stop a gas stations along the way.

How far is the drive and how bad is the leak?

I made it to the shop. They replaced the water pump again. Luckily it was still under warranty. They rerouted the power steering hoses to better suit the new radiator and replaced all the nuts and bolts on the cooling fan. I'm not leaking coolant anymore, and my Jeep has never run better. :)
