Well, Ive had it for a couple months now!
Its a 2002 Jeep Sport. 5 speed manual transmission, 4.0 litre, upgraded wheels, upgraded sound system.Only has 22,300 miles! The owner was 60 an never offroaded with it.
i cant wait to modify it. I am thinking of an 8 inch lift by either skyjacker or the 8 inch lift by fabtech. Then run 37 inch tires.
Heres a pic i just took

Just in case you're new to jeeps altogether and you're not too mechanically savvy, an 8inch lift w/ 37's is very involved. It's not as simple as putting new springs and tires on. Not to mention how costly it is.
Aside from that, I love the look of rigs w/ 35-37's on 'em. That's what I'll eventually run on my cj (when I get one.)

being a jeeper is a lot more involved than just owning a jeep. since you are new to jeeping (based on the subject line) i recommend that you just leave it alone for now. learn jeeping and learn your jeep, then grow with your jeep as a jeeper. im not trying to be a kill-joy, but if you modify it beyond your own limitations and abilities (newbie with 8" lift on 37s) it could get very painful. learn your jeep, then figure out what your needs are. modify your jeep to meet your needs and stop there until your needs change/progress.

Yeah all the other message boards say you cant have yahoo, gmail, or hotmail accounts which kinda sucks since im new to jeeps and need my questions answered and all.
I think an 8 inch lift may be too much, but a 5-6 inch lift would be ideal for me.
Im only 16 right now, and with the low miles and warrenty still under way i dont want to mess with it, plus i dont have alot of cash, and all the cash i do have is paying for gas and insurance.cost me 39 bucks to fill up my tank today.unbelieavble.
My friends and I do some offroading, but nothing that extreme becuase everything gets closed off.Anyone know any good offroading areas in northern california?

I am kinda with MontanaJeeper, I'm new to the whole Jeep thing myself. I bought a new 2004 Wrangler Unlimited in October '04. I "plan to put a 4 in. lift with 33x12.50's, but I'm waiting until my factory waranty is near its end.
My Unlimited is yellow and all I have done to it so far is Warn rock crawler bumpers front and rear, w/ tire carrier, I have the Warn grill guard installed as well as the winch plate. I plan to buy a winch for it soon, leaning towards Warn 9.5ti, but not so thrilled about the price, so i'm still looking around. I am also looking for offroading opportunities in the Indiana area. oh yeah, I plan on getting a snorkel really soon too, if for no other reason than because I think they are Kuhl.
