Outer Banks - Killdevil Hills

I'm heading down there May 8th - 14th for some R&R. My girlfriends brother is getting married that week down there, so I'll be around for the week. Anybody close to there that can show me around, I would greatly appreciate it. Let me get a schedule of what I have going on that week, and we can hook up if possible. Thanks!!

i just went there last summer. you NEED to take your jeep and go up past duck island. the paved road ends at a wild horse sanctuary and you can drive up the beach. there are a bunch of beautiful homes up there and it's just absolutely beautiful. i thought the week i spent there would have been pretty hum-drum if it weren't for driving out there. also, if you go south twards hatteras, there's a decent size bridge to cross. on the north side of the bridge is another popular place to drive the beach. tons of fishermen and lots of babes. not that my married a$$ was looking or anything like that..... :doh:
