Just recieved my set in the mail. I almost lost my eye installing it. After that the next thing I noticed was the red clashed with my vehicle color.
All in all the performance was gained as stated. I ran it on a dyno and sure enough, 15hp!!! It gives the hood a gentle flapping motion as well. Its nice to see manufactures taking the time to really put enginuity in their products. I will be ordering my red valve stems shortly as well. I here they give added traction.

I have to agree with you Adam... I just got my set this morning. This mod is extremely dangerous to install but the added benefits are well worth it. I even modified my set to fit my xj. The owner of Spaspotato also agreed to custom paint my new set of rock sliders to match.

My instructions were written in Chinese, but I remembered Adam telling me that these things would require drilling for a CJ. I accidentally drilled a hole in my radiator but it was nothing a wooden plug won't fix. After reading the reviews, I decided to wear safety glasses, but still managed to chip a tooth and bust my top lip.
This is without a doubt the most dangerous mod I've ever attempted. However, it was worth it for the noticeable horsepower gain. I'm thinking I'll probably be ordering the red valve stems myself.

I'm still waiting for the KJ model to come out.
I need the performance boost, and it has to come in black or I'll have to get out the rattlecan to fix it.
:wiggle:
I have a question about the performance boost though. If I install three sets of these, will I see the appropriate 45 hp boost, or is there some complicated geometric formula that comes into play?
And this product does come with stickers, right?

well there is a super complicated formula that goes into the design of the bungee performance.. as a matter of fact i have it mastered...
Horsepower gained, rounded to the nearest whole number = ((number of straps X 1.523 + 32) - (54 X .34)) / ((number of straps X .22) X .97)
For instance, say you have 3 bungee performance straps..
(((3 X 1.523) + 32) - (54 X .34)) / ((3 X .22) X .97) = Aprox. 29 Horsepower gain..

Well, our little 4 bangers could sure use this. It's a lot cheaper than the other mods like fuel modifiers and it is the only performance booster I have seen that won't put more pressure on the Dana 35. To date, 4WD has an exclusive on this product, too.

:lmao:
For the 4 cyls. I'd have to recommend that you install 35 bungees. Then you'd actually be able to get a response when you romped the gas pedal.!
