I have a 87 wrangler with a lot of little problems. The haynes book does not go into enough detail for the year models(just general). What manual goes into more detail? One problem is the wipers. Does the front or back circuit breaker goes to the wipers? Also what does the other circuit breaker go to?
By the way this is the best site I've seen on getting help.

Kkelly, look for a Factory Service Manual (FSM). I picked one up on e-Bay for $30 a few years back. They were about $60 at the local stealership. There are several other manuals (Body & Chassis, Electrical, Emissions ect.), but the FSM would be the one to have. It won't tell you to take it to a service technichian, because it's written for the service tech :D
Good luck in your quest.
P.S.: The wiper circuit breaker is #11 (5.3amp), the headlights use a 25amp breaker.
