my buddy took his girlfriends new grand off roading the other day and now its throwing a code , can you check the codes on a 2005 grands within the car? like turn key 3 times on and off or whatnot?

The key trick should work on that. The code will be displayed on the odometer.

if you take it to autozone they'll read the codes for you for free...if you can't figure it out with out a reader.

for some reason ive noticed alot of jeep have been up to silver lake sand dunes and have come back with check engine lights on and bad tps switches.

If it is a 05 model why not take it to the dealership? It is under warranty right?

If you are able to pull the codes by the three key turn trick,post the codes or email/pm me and ill tell you what they mean as i just won a diagnostic code disk for the 2000 grand and it should work on yours.
