My '88 XJ is going in for its "refit" this weekend. I have not been using it because I have not had the time. I use my demo from work mostly. It needs a ball joint or two and a couple other things. I can not wait! Driving these new cars is for the birds. lol.

I work for a Dodge/JEEP store here in Sydney. I sell Vehicles for a living. One of the perks is having a free vehicle. I used to always drive a JEEP or Dakota truck. I drive an Intrepid right now. Gas is about $4.70 ish a gallon in US money so you see my point. It is a perk of having to deal with long hours and a stressful job. They pay my insurance and maintenance for whatever I drive from work.

OK I got ya now. I forgot you worked for a dealer ship and when you said demo I thought that was a type of care like dawoo or kia or something small and funny like.
4.70 a gallon why so much up there has it been like that for some time now.

We pay $0.83 per liter Canadian. There are roughly 4 liters in a gallon. If $0.83 x 4(liters)= $3.32 Canadian. If your dollar is about 1.4 times what ours is, then $3.32 x 1.4= $4.68 in Canadian funds per gallon. Not too good is it? That is for regular grade gas. It is $0.93 per liter for supreme. About $5.20 Camadian per gallon.

Why is gas so high there. I was in calgary back in 1990-91 loved it there hotter than SH!T in july o man. We went up there and got our A$$ handed to us on a silver plater by kids 2 years younger than us in hockey woooooooooooooooooooo boy was that fun. hahahah really it was. minus the A$$ kicking we got. I don't remember the gas being that much I thought it was like .56 to .61 cents a Liter. well it was 10 years ago so who knows.
