I have a 52 M38A1 and it is in pretty bad shape. What shoud i do about axles, t-case, tranny, and engine. Also suspension. Any suggestions wouild be helpful.

A 52 M38A1 is very much like an Early CJ5. What to do depends on how you want to use it. A Dauntless V6 with T14/D18 would be a late 60s stock combo, that would be a good start. There's plenty more you can do... get ideas from other guys bulding A1's and early 5s at the links in my sig.
