Anyone wanting to eat breakfast @ Pipers Be there by early to allow enough time to order and eat your food. We will head out @ 8:00. Fuel Food and The like are available at a couple of Mini Marts just across the street.
We will head off highway just before Wabuska making our way thru Churchill Canyon and up over the Pine Nut Mountains using the Old Como Trail. On the way we will visit a couple of old sheep camps, what?s left of the town of Como, the Hultey-Logan Mine and enjoy a day in the pines We will follow the trail down out of the Pine Nuts and into Dayton for a Restroom/Gas/Food/Water Break. From Dayton we will head down the asphalt for a short distance then back onto the trail and back over the Pine Nuts Via Sunrise Pass. This is a fairly easy trail, just a little rocky at times of course there is always a chance of a wash out or two with the winter we had. Please RSVP to dutyandme@yahoo.com

I used to ride that trail all the time in my cj5 by myself. Memories!!!!! I wish I was still there. The wild horses are cool, I hit one once on the way back from Virginia city, almost rolled the jeep!
