Well, it's official. I have sold my TJ. It went to a good home, they'll bathe it and play fetch with it and rub it's tummy.... I am gonna miss that thing though. Don't kill me guys, but I might go ahead and sell my XJ too, someone made an offer on it last week. I have been debating getting another toyota (probably a 1984 or 1985 like my old one). Well, that's the news from the home-front on my wrangler.... It's gone.

Too big a project? Too many headaches?
If I sold my YJ, it'd be to buy a CJ5 or a CJ2.
I think the 84 Toyota was one of the best built ones.

Well, hope you still stop by. I understand about the toyota. I was in high school when those came out and they were awsome. Had a friend that had 44's with a 4 banger. Aside from the lift and rims, no other mods were done. Have fun.

As far as being too big a project or anything, it was done. I already did everything that I was willing to do to it.... I just can't afford the durned thing though, it was just sitting in Tennessee anyhow. I got a nice chunk of money for it and that'll probably go towards the XJ (if I don't sell it too). I have been playing with the idea of turning it into an expedition-camper vehicle (miniaturized, of coure) 'cause I am seriously trying to get to Barrow one of these days. I just need to see which one would be more viable (economically and mechanically) for the trip. I am gonna try and keep the she-rookee if possible. But, if I sell that one too, that Toy will be a pretty bad piece of work if I sink all of that cash into it. I'll keep ya'll posted on what comes of the situation as things go....
In the meantime, my wealth of knowledge on Jeep trivia will remain here. :D

I know what you mean about projects. It just seems that everything I fix on my '87, another thing breaks on it. I bought it with the intention of fixing a few minor things (rust, bent leaf springs, etc etc) and flat-fendering it, adding a lift and having fun. But no, instead, when my friend calls to go mud boggin, I have to say "No, my 4wd doesnt work." :x
