disc drake conversion

I am looking into disc brake conversion for the rear of my 82 cj7 are the kits avaliable any good and is it worth the time an money?

Are they any good, if done correctly, yes. Is it needed, maybe. If your running larger than 33" tires, then disk will help the stopping distance. It will still help with smaller tires, but it will be very noticeable with larger tires.
