Anyone have any good sources for Dana 35 rear axles for this model
grand cherokee? Is $200 a reasonable price for a right rear axle for this
model? Anyone know of any problems with the lock rite locker rear end?

All help is appreciated, thanks!

I've used the Lock-Rights on several jeep applications with chev V8's in the 300 to 450hp range with both manual and auto trans setups and have not had one give up yet.... however, these applications are all mostly highway drivers and none of them use them for serious off road driving... would suggest that u get the upgrade on the "Cross Shaft" as the standard shaft does not hold up well at least in our experiance... as far as ur dana 35 if u can't find one I have a 93 and a 95 in the yard for parts both with rear diffs but it would prob not be worth the shipping cost from Hawaii... good luck to ya, hope u get a few more replies to make up ur mind on the lock-rights :3:

I have no real experiance with the lockrite lockers but Ive heard that when they start to wear they will skip. I rebuild trannys and diffs by trade and I can say that the Auburn Gear posi unit it top notch quality and can handle a ton of horsepower. I have installed many of these units and have heard alot of good feedback with them... they do cost a bit more money and are more of a hassel to install though.
