View Full Version : TJ Factory Hard Top Leaks

Ok question. I think I might already know the answer to this but I am doubting myself. On my factory hardtop, when it rains or when I wash my jeep, where the rear wiper motor housing is on the inside of the window, water drips from there. Do you think I just need a new seal or what?

Well, i only have a soft top, but if it didn't leak before, and it does now, you need a new gasket. but you already knew that. :D

It's possible that the rubber gasket around the wiper arm is deteriorated. I could check it if you would like. :D

Ok new ?- where does one find a new seal for that? It's probably a dealer only item, huh?

And yes, probably a dealer only part. May want to call a body shop or an auto glass repair shop and see where they would get one from.

My hard top leaks around the back are too now I mint know where its coming from now becasue of this didnt really care the only time i notice it is when im spraying it of at the carwash its not that bad.
