Hay all, I am new to Jeeps and wheelin in general, I've been a long time VW owner but have always had a warm place in my heart for owning a Jeep

So anyway, I sell vdubs, and took a clean 2001 XJ 4dr manual in on trade so I snatched it up.

And like my obsession with vdubs, so begins an obsession with Jeeps (I think), anyway been checkin out all kinds of mods for the XJ as I can't leave anything stock.

Any suggestions for a weekend warrior/daily driver?

My girlfriend shares the jeep with me for the time being so for now I can't get into anything too crazy.

Was thinkin Rustys or RE 3"/3.5" with some 31" AT's for now, then once she gets a new car and the Jeep is paid off, on to bigger and better things, (gotta save some loot for the GTI
any performance upgrades available as well?

Things were going good for you til you said you share your Jeep with your girlfriend. You can't carry on two love affairs at the same time. Dump the girlfriend and you and the Jeep can be happy. Just kidding....welcome.

Welcome!! My wife has had 3 xj's and she loves them. They are not tricked out like my wrangler, but at least it's a jeep. Good Luck and have fun :naughty:
