As far as the South goes, just too damn hot for me. Been to South Carolina and thought I was gonna melt.

Welcome kudzu!!
Jeepkreep: Didn't you say on another thread A/C was for girls? Yes it is hot down here as Kudzu will surely agree! Any good wheelin' down that way or are ya gettin sloppy in that good ol' nasty, sticky, booger snot slippery red clay?

A/C is for girls :naughty:

I'll say it again, I don't care for the heat much, but
Jeep=no A/c :naughty:

as far as yur red clay goes, I was introduced to the South on a Boy scout trip to somethere down there when I was about 15....forget the camp....but anyway, it rained....

boy oh boy yur right about that rec clay mud! :drowning:

I know some people think a/c is for girls, and I agree to a small degree. However, here in the deep south of Tx, if you run with your top down for too long you will melt. It is Very HHoootttttt!!!!. Not 90 or 100 degrees, but like 105. Heat index, forget it your talking 120, You can literally fry an egg on the pavement, and that's no joke. So if a/c is for girls then I quess I have some issues to deal with, in the mean time I'll ride cool as a cucumber. :girl:

P.S. I did get a/c for my wife's sake, but I'm not going to say I don't enjoy it form time to time.

Yeah, the red stuff is like Astroglide(alittle grainy though :naughty: )But it's usually not very deep. Check out my Take The Keys thread, my wife found some white clay that had no bottom. Couple days after the stuck, my daughter's friend who took her there jumped down in the hole made by my pass. front tire and started sinking. He was in up to his waist before three friends pulled him out! :drowning:
I meant to say, if you want girls to ride in your Jeep, you need A/C. :girlhit:

Thanks for the warm reception! :bighug:

I'm going to order an AC for the CJ7. I live near Las Vegas, it's an oven out there some days. You can buy a new ac unit for $905. , not a bad price.
I have one other car, no ac there either but a lot of fun. pic link below. The cj will have to be my AC'D luxury vehicle that goes desert riding in it's spare time.
