bought this on ebay the other day.

It's my 2nd cj, bought one new in 78 just like this one but maroon colored, it rusted out in 4 years.
My new one has the rebuilt engine, 40 over with a more agressive cam and a 2 barrel. might sttick a 4 bbl on it don't know yet. i'm in vegas. the seller says plenty of power, can't wait till it arrives, having it shipped> best thing is rust free.

It looks great. Personally I'd be scared to make a buy of something like a vehicle just from pictures....but thats just me. I see a lot of Jeeps on e-bay. Good luck.

I know I couldn't stand the wait after the last Jeep I purchased, and it was only 24 hours. But at least you still have that whole week at work, wishing you were out driving in the Jeep, to look forward to.

Bought three jeeps this way. Boss's kids also each bought one. Had good luck with it. However when it comes to CJ's I do know what to look for and how to evaluate how much they should cost.
Looks to me like you got a good deal.

Hey I just saw the Michigan plates. Crap, you could have had me go take a look at it for you. If you didn't have someone getting it for you I would drive it out there for you. That is right up in my old neighborhood. :vbac476:
I can tell you that this jeep had to come from down south, that is not a Michigan jeep, it wouldn't have a body, or frame, if it was a Michigan jeep.

hopefully it's really rust free like he says. that and the new engine, clutch and carb etc should make it a good deal. oh yeah new distributor, yahoo.

into piddling around with a few things on the cj7?
