Ok, heres the deal... Im in the extreme north Texas area, 20 miles from TX/OK border. I am 25, married, and father of 3 kiddos. Me and my wife finally decided to buy our first new vehicle after almost being married 7 years. We looked at cars, trucks, and all in between. I have always had the urge to own a jeep, but was not to serious about it. Well, after a couple days, we mutually decided to buy a jeep.
So, after doing a lil research, we bought an 05 Jeep Rubicon. Its only 1 week old to us, but we both have a new love in our life!! BTW... the kiddos enjoy it also, my son loves the "monster truck tires"!!
I didnt quite know about the depth of jeep ownership until after the purchase, but man... it flows through our blood!
-im hooked-

Welcome!!! Try not to spend the college funds on mods!!!

Try not to set the Mod bar too high with three kids.

When My Rubi grows up this is what I'm aiming for...

About 9K will get you there.

Then it starts to get expencive.

Did the salesperson tell you what J.E.E.P. stands for?

The Jeep lifestyle isn't for everyone but you know it if it's in you. Like you said it flows through your blood... I think we all can understand that. I don't think I'll ever own anything else. Good Luck and thanks for starting out the youngsters in the Jeep lifestyle. :3:

College funds..... they HAVE to get there in style!!! Mods will come in due time, not yet in to big of a hurry to get a long arm lift, bumpers, winch, etc. But believe me...... im looking at them daily!!
The salesman didnt tell what J.E.E.P. stands for, nor do i know myself.

Welcome. jdstj said it right. This is a lifestyle not a hobby. My 4 boys love it. My oldest, 22, doesn't get to go much, but the 3 younger ages 8, 5 & 3 can't get enough. Was at the Superlift park in Hot Spring for Memorial Day weekend and they still haven't stopped talking about it. Going back for the Labor Day weekend as well.

Sparkplug.....4 boys.... WHOA!!
One 4 year old boy is good for me, but my two girls add to the mix! The girls really dont care to wheel, but my son cant get enough!! The JEEP definately gives us something in common. It creates a place to get away, have "man" time, and lets us bond.
For those w/out kids, you just cannot understand how hard it is to connect, even at 4 years old, with a kid.
If their is anyone in the Wichita Falls area looking to wheel, hollar at me. We would like to have some company.

Welcome to the forum and the lifestyle. Like everyone else said this is a lifestyle. Everyone loves a jeep, I have brought 3 friends, and my girlfriend into the jeep family. Once you ride in a jeep you'll never go back!!
